8 Channel DVR
An 8 Channel DVR allows you to record up to eight security cameras at once. Typical buyers of 8 channel DVR systems are residential users with medium-large homes, restaurants, retail stores, fast-food restaurants, and other small business offices.
Often people who purchase 8 Channel DVRs and place four CCTV cameras indoors and four outside. 8 channel DVRs are sometimes used in residential homes, where homes exceed 5 bedrooms or 3000 square feet.
Eight Channel DVRs can support up to 8 cameras, it is best to use them if you have 5, 6, 7 or 8 security cameras. Although there is some wisdom to saving money and buying a 4 channel DVR if you have less than 5 cameras, you may wish to increase the number of cameras later so many people choose to purchase an eight channel system, even if they have 4 or fewer cameras.
You may wish to use our dvr hard drive calculator to figure out how much hard drive space you will for however long you want to record. Feel free to call us to have one of our consultants configure a 8 channel surveillance system for you today.
